The Windows 7 Phone itself may come out great. But Microsoft has officially announced that the mobile phone does not support tethering. Now, tethering is a Internet harnessing technique has gotten more and more popular lately. The idea behind tethering is that you can utilize the Internet capabilities on your smart phone in order to connect your laptop to the Internet.
It’s a cool feature that some people find extremely helpful. And Microsoft has chosen not to allow it, while their Android and iPhone competitors do. I just don’t understand why. Why, when you’re trying so hard to be forward-thinking Microsoft, do you choose to alienate tech geeks once again?
