Quora is the hottest Q&A site on the Web right now, mimicking the feed design of Twitter and turning it into a interdependent fountain of information. The question is, will it last?
Well, right now, it’s being supported by a lot of big tech names. A lot of the top minds in technology are there right now, answering questions. That’s why Quora is currently more relevant than Yahoo! Answers or WikiAnswers. Because the knowledge leaders are there. But will they stay?
Well, there’s a certain novelty in producing. Take Wikipedia. It’s solely volunteer created. Because people like being a part of something. Will that selfish altruism be enough motivation to get thought leaders to hang around and answer my questions all day long? We’ll see.
