Biz Stone and Evan Williams, two co-founders of Twitter are teaming up to create their next obvious venture. Obvious.
Their goal is to “develop products that matter.” So, the question becomes, is this a business, a philanthropy or both? The Obvious site references “the possibility to reach and connect expansive numbers of people fundamentally changes the nature of what’s possible when it comes to building businesses on the Internet. Also, there’s room for innovation in how businesses measure success and more meaningful definitions of ambition.”
Huh? Let the record show that Obvious isn’t exactly a new venture. These co-founders left Google’s Blogger team to start Obvious, which birthed Twitter. So perhaps now that Twitter seems like it’s safely growing, they can go back to creating once again?
