Currently, there is a prospective deal between Google and Twitter to show “tweets” on their search engine results. This could change search engine optimization in many ways if the deal goes through.
According to reports, the two media giants are negotiating to create a feed from Twitter.
With Google already responding to the real-time search queries from Twitter the deal seems logical, but what will this mean for Internet marketing companies in general?
From a Search Engine Optimization prospective, Google will be able to get its hands on millions of web pages and create even more competition on the search engine giant, but can it keep up? Well Google Caffeine will speed up the Google indexing speed, but it probably is still not fast enough with the millions of tweets that happen every day.
This seems like it could really cause problems with some companies, because they could get spammed by millions of tweets daily, so we’ll see if this deal goes through.
