This one’s pretty spectacular. As the Food Network has brought fine dining into the mainstream just as Julia Child did it decades ago, food searches online are becoming more and more popular. Specifically searching for recipes.
That’s why Google has introduced Google Recipe View. Now, you can specify in the sidebar that you’re looking for recipes when you type in “chocolate mousse pie.”
Your search results will consist only of recipes that display ratings, ingredients and pictures of the final product. You can also include specific filtres with your search that include or exclude a specific ingredient for personal preference or allergy avoidance, prep time if you’re in a rush, and calorie total to maintain your diet.
Plus, any individual can add their recipe to this index by utilizing Rich Snippet markup technology. I think this one’s going to be huge.
