If you’ve been paying close attention, you may have seen a very small change in your Google search engine results recently. Go to Google. Enter your search terms. No, it’s not that Google Instant is trying to read your mind. We’ve already talked about that. But now, look to the right of your first return. Next to the bookmark “star”, you should see a little magnifying glass. Click on it. (If you’re not seeing this, you can click here to test the new Instant Preview tool.)
And now you can see a full image preview of the site before committing to a click-through. And once you’ve clicked on the magnifying glass for any of your search returns, you can simply hover over the rest of the links to view the image preview.
Yes, this only saves seconds. But it saves seconds. And Google once again is showing their dedication to making the user experience as satisfying as possible.
