You’ve heard of Facebook Credits. The future world currency (now that the dollar is turmoiling into oblivion). Facebook Credits of course are mere tokens in the interactive arcade that is Facebook.
And starting this week, Facebook is now rewarding users who watch certain ads with a Facebook Credit equivalent of $0.10. This of course, moves advertising from horrible interruptions to happy time-wasters – a huge step forward for companies looking to actually ‘engage’ their audience, and not just irritate them.
This is a potential huge step forward in the evolution of advertising, and one that has entrepreneurs everywhere excited about the potential financial gains from watching television.
