Consumer Reports made big news recently when they were unable to recommend the new iPhone 4 because of the problems many consumers were have with its antenna malfunctions. To further add insult to injury, and rub salt in the wounds of Apple, Consumer Reports has now just officially recommended eight different Android devices in their September issue.
These recommended Android devices include:
- Motorola Droid
- Google Nexus One
- HTC Droid Incredible
- HTC myTouch 3G Slide
- HTC Evo 4G
- HTC Droid ErisHTC Hero
- Samsung Moment
To recap, Android phones are now the most popular in the U.S., covering one in three smart phones shipped. And it’s interesting to see how this one Apple slip might have cost them serious momentum precisely in the moment smart phones are becoming mainstream.
