Being first matters- particularly in showing up in a consumer’s Google search.
According to a recent article by Search Engine Watch, when a consumer gets organic search results (that is results that do not have the highlight behind them)- 53% go to the top result. The 2nd result gets only 15 percent, the 3rd results gets only 9 percent, the 4th gets 6 percent, ending in only 4 percent to for the fifth result. When someone Googles your business name or industry- are you on the top? Or even on the first page?
Being first in search results is something we at Windy City Strategies help businesses do every day.
